Throughout my whole life I was always shy;
Hiding behind a mask of my own design;
Never did set free or fly way too high;
But that mask has decided to resign.
I will start to reveal what is below;
All the cracks and scars that were never shown
Will cry to the world “I will say hello!”
I’ll be the girl who was never known.
These cracks and scars will never leave my side;
But, with confidence, I will stay alive;
Things will go wrong, and I will no doubt slide;
But I will get back up again and drive.
One of these days I will fly high above
Hanging on tight to everything I love
